Diverse perspectives on rewilding in Wales

Dr Isabel Sebastian presented to the Insights Wales platform on the diverse perspectives on rewilding experienced in Wales. The presentation covered the challenges of defining rewilding, how rewilding has evolved in Europe and the UK, and how it is perceived in Wales. The presentation suggested that wild and wildness need to be defined by communities first before they can determine what rewilding looks like in practice in their place. (This was an expanded version of a presentation on 29 June 2022 to the Brecon Beacons Park Society).
